Virgo Season Aug 22 – Sep 22

A new astrological month has started, but the story is already well underway. We find ourselves in the midst of an Eclipse Portal, as chaos is swirling, the air is heavy, and the pace of this summer has been exhausting. So much is being stripped bare, there is nowhere left for the shadow to hide, and the revelations are now impossible to ignore. 

If you’re not yet being 100% honest with yourself, Virgo Season is going to drag it all out. Virgo has a critical eye, seeks perfection, and notices everything. And with the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 27th, clarity is right around the corner. 

But what will be revealed is going to surprise you.

Uranus, the planet of disruption, unpredictability, revolution, and liberation is a key player as it squares the Sun & the Moon during this eclipse. And the theme? Expect the Unexpected. What you thought was figured out actually has a twist, and where you thought you were headed is being rerouted to a new destination. 

The universe is showing you what the future holds. Until now it’s been way beyond your perception, but with Mercury’s conjunction with the Sun at the same time as the eclipse, your ability to interpret the signs is strengthened. This is preparing you to realign your compass towards your true north during the New Moon in Virgo on September 10th. On this day, Uranus also stations retrograde, giving you time to reflect and reconsider everything it has disrupted.

The challenge this month will be to trust that what is out of your control is being taken care of. And thankfully, now that we’re in Virgo Season, we have a strong anchor with the Sun in an Earth element, balancing out all of this fire & air. It’s easier to surrender when the foundation is stabilizing, and all that’s being asked of you right now is to accept the moment for what it is. That is what it truly means to embrace the truth. 

Speaking of truth, Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is moving back into Aries on September 17th, to give you the chance to figure yourself out. During the Solar Eclipse last month, your identity was being challenged, during the Lunar Eclipse this month, it’s your faith that’s being tested, and during this Chiron transit, you will have to face it all head on.

When the Dragon meets the Mane of the Lion, what can we do other than find something to hold onto and try to enjoy the ride?

It’s said that during an eclipse, one should not manifest or make any major decisions – wait until it’s over. The energy is too chaotic, too unpredictable, too complex. And, in fact, the eclipse itself will do everything that needs to be done. Consider the energies during a Solar Eclipse. We have the Sun, the life-giving King of the Heavens, being swallowed and hidden from our view, the realm itself in shadow, darkness, stillness. How does that translate to the self? The Sun represents our Ego, our individuality, and when it is obscured, with nothing to reflect back at itself, the image becomes its own mirror. Do you like what you see?

Eclipse Season is a time of transformation when the Sun and the Moon meet with the Lunar Nodes, points of fate and destiny, known as the Head and Tail of the Dragon. These alignments bring a purge of the past versions we no longer need to carry, and a reckoning of what is to come. It is a death and rebirth. The soul already knows, but can the mind accept the change it must face in order to move forward? Or will the pattern repeat?

This summer, a keyword is Pride. This Solar Eclipse is during the New Moon in Leo, typically a moment of renewed vitality, motivation, and creativity. Yet, this year, you may have been feeling dragged down, exhausted, at your emotional, physical and spiritual limit. Everything you thought was under control is crashing around you, and the identity you have built, piece by piece, is at risk of shattering. Everything you thought you were – healed, stable, content, abundant, wise, regulated – is being challenged. And the old behaviours and thoughts are knocking at the door. Will you answer with humility and radical honesty, or will you refuse the call simply to protect your pride?

What will your reflection look like as you turn inward and peer into the darkness? Will you embrace this opportunity to surrender to the wisdom of the universe? Is your inner eye open to the messages it is receiving? Can you clearly see what you must no longer carry, and allow yourself to leave it behind?

As this Solar Eclipse trines Saturn, we are being encouraged to accept responsibility, resolve karma, and find happy endings. When the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces trines Mars, we will be ready to acknowledge the emotional pain – you gotta feel it to heal it – and take the first brave steps forward.

Out of the darkness and back into the light of truth.

The past week, since the Cancer New Moon, has felt like the Eye of the Storm, and now we’re about to go through an action-packed summer of transformation.

What can you expect?

Not only are we entering Leo Season, my friends, Eclipse Season and the Lion’s Gate Portal is also upon us. All of these energies are combining to lift humanity out of the fog, and into a cosmic shift of consciousness that can no longer be ignored.

Last month, we felt the universe take a breath inward, and with the basket alignment on July 19th, we began to set the foundation for the future, whether we were consciously aware of it or not. The collective intelligence has been activated, and we are acclimating to this new phase of being. The material realm is dissolving and blending with the unseen. The veil is lifting from the collective third eye, and the darkness has nowhere left to hide.

This next month is critical.

What are you manifesting? Who are you becoming? What is your role within the Spiritual Revolution and are you ready to walk the path before you?

Mercury Retrograde is over, and will be entering Leo. Speak confidently.

The Aquarius Full Moon, conjunct Pluto, is a prelude to the upcoming Eclipses, challenging you to break free of past stories and to dispose of any and all of the masks that you wear to hide your authentic self.

Your fears, worries, doubts, and insecurities will not serve you in the same way that you have subconsciously grown accustomed to. You must intentionally find the courage and strength to show the world who you truly are.

Chiron is bringing one final lesson and opportunity for you to heal the wound of your personal identity, so we can all return to what it truly means to be human.
